Garden Competition 2006

The judging of this year’s garden competition took place in July and yet again the standard was very high.  A team of volunteers walked the estate looking at our front gardens and we are very grateful to Tom and Jean Bitmead, Jill and Bob Templeman, Brian Saunders, Doreen Axtell and Betty Good for undertaking this task.  Brian Saunders, a retired head gardener from Hartwell House, did the judging this year.

 

This year’s winners are

1. Mr and Mrs Kuper of 9 Creswick Meadow
2. Mr and Mrs Williams of 22 Aplin Road
3. Mr and Mrs Smith of 12 Tyneham Close

 Runners up are

              Mr and Mrs Billinghurst of 166 Long Meadow

              Mr and Mrs Emery of 29 Dorset Place

 

Congratulations to all the winners and the prize giving will take place at the AGM next April as usual.
